Pinot Noir is the newest addition to the 3 Drops portfolio. The fruit comes from 3 Drops' Patterson's vineyard where the vines are nearly 30 years old. The wine has distinctly Pinot Noir aromas, with strawberries and dark forest berry fruit characters. The front palate is rounded and generous with lively fruit characters, texture and silkiness from quality French oak providing fine grained tannins.

Yet further testimony to Rob Diletti's mastery of pinot noir and (possibly) older vines. A delicious red cherry and strawberry array of aromas and flavours; needs a little more depth and structure for top points, but impressive nonetheless - and very drinkable. Winery Tasting Notes
A mid red color with intense purple hues
A balanced bouquet showing strawberry and blueberry fruits, hints of high quality French oak and some creamy pinot complexity.
The front palate is immediately filled with the generous fruit characters which carry through the length of the palate. The wine shows a silky texture and is balanced by light charry notes from the French oak. The wine is long, enticing and continues to develop in the glass.
Whilst it is fresh and vibrant as a young wine, this Great Southern Pinot will develop complexity over the next three to four years.
A fantastic food wine, it can be enjoyed with a wide range of dishes, but is particularly well suited to game and lamb.
