A vibrant blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The nose shows aromatics of blackberry and raspberry intermingled with vanilla from the wine's French oak maturation.

A blend of cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc, the cassis fruit wreathed in French oak, and supported by tannins - at the moment oak is omnipresent, but time may cure that. Rating 89 - Drink by 2020 - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion (JAN/2014)
Winery Tasting Notes
A blend of 75% cabernet sauvignon, 25% cabernet franc
Deep red with vibrant hues
There are fruit notes of black currant and raspberries that are balanced by tobacco leaf characters and quality French oak.
The entry into the palate is rich, fruity and generous. The tobacco leaf characters and cedary French oak are evident and add complexity. The tannins are mid weighted and well integrated, giving the wine structure and balance. A great example of cool climate Cabernet blend, which has lovely generosity with a balanced and long finish.
