Agreeable. Displays fairly forward aromas and flavours verging on tropical fruit. Adequate drinking now but will come forward quickly. Winewise Jul-09
Winery Tasting Notes
Intense deep reds and a hint of purple. The depth of colour is particularly amazing for this variety and obtained by the very high UV light, which occurs at high altitudes.
The wine has rich berry fruit aromas, complex and layered from its time in barrel, which also adds a vanilla/coca layer.
The flavour highlights the berry fruits of the variety. The texture with fine fruit tannins unwraps the fruit through the mid-palate.
