93 Points. Rich, slurpy, fruit smelling, with black chocolate, raisins and earthy dates. Attacks lush and sweet and mouth-filling with excellent dusty coal among the raisins and more squeezed coulis curranty stuff. Slick and succulent. Tim White Inside Out Oct-08
Bargain of the Week. A tasty, good-value shiraz greche mourvedre tempranillo blend from the Clare Valley. Rich fruit nose, plenty of flavour; a firm thread of tannin provides structure. Best during the next year or two. Huon Hooke Good Living - SMH 3 Mar-09
This is not the new haircut the Pikes boys have taken a shine to; rather the third vintage of their unique red blend – of shiraz, mourvedre, tempranillo and Greche. It’s uncomplicated, supple and easy to like, with dark berry flavours and restrained oak and tannins. A pretty good quaffer… Peter Forrestal Quaff 2009 Jan-09
