Steely mineral notes, and tight on the palate with flavours of dried pineapple. Soft tannins. Good length and a creamy oak finish.

"From contract-grown Yarra Valley grapes; aromatic grapefruit, white flesh stone fruit and crisp acidity. A good example of what unwooded Chardonnay should look like."Rating 90 - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion Edition 2011
Winery Tasting Notes
A zesty, citrus nose with chamomile and bergamot flowers - a hint of Earl Grey tea. Underneath is fresh baked puff pastry and cracked wheat.
Nashi pears, fresh nectarines and baked apple pie (yep, the pastry too!) with a citrus backbone and just a hint of vanilla bean. Tight and zesty initially, opening into a long creamy palate.
Steamed barramundi or fresh kingfish with wasabi. Smoked trout salad.
