"This is a hell of a lot of wine – absolute super premium quality at a premium price. It’s laced with Geraldine magic of gorgeously fine white peach flavours, freshly grated nutmeg oak and a very savoury, dry finish." - Matthew Jukes & Tyson Stelzer - Taste Food & Wine 2009 - January 2009.
95 Points - "Vibrant hue; a very complex array of aromas, from nectarine and pear, flowing through to lightly toasted cashews; the palate shows great intensity, but is balanced by linear acidity and great drive; the finish is very long, even and fresh, and the wine should age gracefully indeed." - James Halliday Wine Companion 2010 - June 2009.
94 Points - "Could this be Stonier’s greatest Reserve Chardony yet? The oak control is like never before: finely styled and balanced, allowing its very fine minerality, texture and flavours of freshly grated nutmeg, fine grapefruit and white peach to step to the fore. A truly triumphant result." - Tyson Stelzer - Wine Buiness Monthly - April 2009.
