Accessible yet still elegant example of cooler climate Pinot Noir.
- VIC - Mornington Peninsula
96 Points / Best of the best by variety - "Deeper colour than usual for Stonier, the aromas and flavours likewise stronger and deeper, but without any hint of dead / shrivelled fruit; instead there are delicious cherry and plum flavours running through the long, supple palate." - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion 2010
"…a light red fruited pinot noir…perky acid crunch, even and supple, some musky tannin chew" - Nick Stock, Australia
Winery Tasting Notes
Bright ruby red.
Intense cherry aroma, with more earthy, dark chocolate hints, with subtle French oak adding complexity.
Vibrant cherry and plum fruit flavour, with some spicy, earthy complexity. The structure is weighty with fine, but quite grippy tannins providing balance to the intense fruit.
