Sourced from a select group of hand tended vineyards located amongst the rolling hills of the Mornington Peninsula, the regions' unique geography and cool maritime conditions contribute to a highly distinctive expression of Chardonnay, typically showing a complex array of exotic fresh citrus fruit flavours supported by natural acid with a delicate mineral character. A fruit driven, early drinking style.

"While a lot of high-end chardonnay fans will gravitate to Stoniers richer KBS and Lyncroft offerings, this little ripper is more in the fresh and zippy style that’s gaining popularity. Theres a dash of oak-influenced spice as well as citrusy fruits with apple and pear flavours."

Winery Tasting Notes
Pale gold, with a green tinge.
Delicate fresh melon with spicy lemon and lime and a hint of oak.
A mouth filling palate of melon and spicy lemon-lime defies the delicacy of the nose. There is some creaminess to the texture from the extended contact with yeast lees, but this is balanced nicely by an enhanced drive of acid carrying the palate nice and long.
