Winery Tasting Notes
The 2009 Bridgewater Mill Shiraz is a bright, deeply coloured wine.
Ripe, fresh blackberry and lifted plum characters combine with spicy white pepper on the palate to produce a long, balanced savoury Shiraz, quite diffeerent style to the traditional Australian Shiraz wines, typical of the warmer climate of the Barossa and McLaren Vale.
Subtle oak blends beautifully with the spicy fruit to produce an elegant cool climate Shiraz that will reward careful celalring, whilst being delicious and approachable in youth.
