Croser Non Vintage Sparkling stays true to the ‘aperitif’ style of Croser Vintage while signalling an evolution of the Petaluma Croser house style. The wine is a blend of the current vintage Croser with reserve wine from several older vintages – with each vintage adding distinctive qualities to the final blend.

Has more exuberant fruit than the traditional Croser style; stone fruit, citrus and a hint of strawberry are held in a basket of brioche, dosage spot on, the length impressive.Rating 94 - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion Edition 2011
The first Croser NV is a fine debut in a fresh, crisp style with Pink Lady apple fruit, zesty lemon structure and some brioche complexity. With seamless length, this is a very classy aperitif style. Rating 92 - Tyson Stelzer, WBM (01/FEB/2010)
This is for those once-a-year fizz drinkers who come out in search of something reliable, affordable and, most importantly, drinkable. One of Australia’s best bubbles in a new guise, this multi-vintage blend uses reserve wines with the current vintage to paint a more complete picture of how uniquely placed the Adelaide Hills are to make great fizz.Nick Ryan, FHM (01/FEB/2010)
Sixty-four percent pinot noir gives richness, fruit weight and 18 months on lees gives almond brioche and creaminessRating 87 - Robert Geddes MW, Australian Wine Vintages 2011 (01/AUG/2010)
Croser Non Vintage Sparkling is a must for those who drink fizz only once or twice a year, and want a reliable, affordable and very drinkable bottle of bubbles. The Croser NV has had a bit of a face-lift recently, and is made as a blend of the current vintage and several older vintages, with each adding a distinctive touch to the final blend. It is an exciting bouquet of complex fruits, citrus and baked yeast characters. The Pinot Noir gives the backbone of the palate, and shows hints of red fruits, and apple. Chardonnay offers nectarine, cashew and shortbread characters. An elegant, refreshing style thats drinking beautifully on release and will develop complexity.Weekend Post (04/SEP/2010)
"... is a blend from various vineyards and vintages. While a dry wine, the NV has a slightly higher dosage, which results in ripe and rich nectarine and strawberry on the palate. The 64% pinot noir and 36% chardonnay, is fruity but dry at the finish.Ross Noble, Mt Barker Courier (17/NOV/2010)
Winery Tasting Notes
64% Pinot Noir, 36% Chardonnay.
The Chardonnay offers nectarine, cashews and biscuity characters - the backbone of the Croser Non Vintage palate - with the Pinot Noir providing a fine mousse and strawberry fruit lift.
Hand picked fruit is whole bunch pressed or crushed and pressed, with the free run juice then fermented using Petalumas specially selected yeast strain in barrique and tank. The tiraged sparkling wine is left to age on yeast lees for 18 months and disgorged on demand - this ensures the wine retains optimum freshness and vitality.
