Medium to pale yellow/green
Very typical white peach, nectarine and grapefruit aromas with some faint mineral and struck match notes. Also some lovely hazelnut/charry oak in the background that adds complexity.
The palate is soft and rich with gentle stonefruit flavours and restrained oak.
The 2008 is a wonderful effort from a difficult season in SA – definitely up there with the best wines from the vintage.
This wine can be cellared safely for 3-5 years under screwcap.
