Another step forward with Pinot Noir from our Lenswood vineyard. Will drink nicely now and over the next 3-6 years. Try with crispy skin duck or grilled marinated quail.

"From the Adelaide Hills comes this very agreeable wine. The nose is distinctly varietal with aromatic fruits and a little appealing stalkiness. The palate is very full and soft with piercing red berry flavours. There are no harsh edges and the finish is fine and long. It is a wine of grace and finesse and is deserving of a fine meal as an accompaniment. Delicate meats with subtle earthiness, such as lamb or quail, would work well."

"A complex, multi-layered Adelaide Hills pinot whose bouquet reveals some whole-bunch fermentation, with stalky, meaty, animal aromas and echoes of Burgundy. Lots of character; layered sweet fruit flavours but also savoury and foresty. "
Penguin Good Australian Wine Guide 2010, Nick Stock (Australia, New Zealand), 01 Dec 09
"Sourced from Lenswood in the Adelaide Hills, this has a complex nose that delivers undergrowth, brambly fruit and a gently stalky nuance – classic pinot here. The palate’s terrific for its shape and balance, fine tannins fuzz up through the middle and straighten through the finish, carrying cherry and chocolate flavour long and deep. Handy balance too."
Winery Tasting Notes
Attractive aromas of summer berry compote - ripe dark cherries and strawberries backed up by some high quality charry French Oak and some "foresty" notes. Quite complex.
Soft, rich strawberry / cherry fruit, a hint of dark chocolate and the charry oak are the main players on the palate. Fine tannins add length and backbone to the soft savoury palate.
