"Despite its youth, this is a lovely glass of bubbles, with straw, herb and nettle aromas coupled with a strawberry thread that runs through the palate. Its soft, rich, dry and savoury in the mouth, with vitality, lightness and a clean and well-balanced finish. Top value. " Rating 91 - Huon Hooke, Sydney Morning Herald (26/Jan/2010)
"This classy bottle-fermented sparkling wine is excellent value. Thanks to an infusion of red wine liqueur, theTache is salmon-hued. It has persistent, fine bubbles and aromas of lime zest and hay. The front of the palate displays elegant white peach flavour, followed on the middle palate by subtle strawberry, spice and yeast characters. Mineral-edged acid lifts the taste buds at the finish. The base wine is 57 per cent Chardonnay, 38 per cent Pinot Noir and 5 per cent Pinot Meunier from Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania." 4.5 Stars -John Lewis, Newcastle Herald (08/May/2010)
"Salmon pink colour; strawberries and cream; sound, simple, good length - not over-sweet, refreshing." 16/20 - Gary Ford, Phillip Gregory, Jim Bertouch, Paul Rogers, Clara Davidson & Ross McCann Choice, (01/Dec/2009)
"Ultra-refined and utterly restrained, this is an incredible Taché with a gorgeous pale salmon hue and just the faintest wisps of strawberry hull and rose petal flavour. It gains its class more by what it is not than what it is, making it the benchmark sparkling rosé of the year. " Rating 93 - Tyson Stelzer WBM, (01/Nov/2009)
"This very reliable rosé-style sparkler has had just a touch of red wine added to the final mix, giving it some added berry flavour. What’s more, it has a great quality-to-price rapport."Ben Canaider, Voyeur - Virgin Blue (01/Dec/2009)
"All three classic varieties come into play here in a beautifully pink drink, the difference being that the subtle colouring comes from adding a sweet liqueur using cabernet as well as chardonnay. The flavour: Lovely strawberry and cream aromas begin the pleasure of this very smart rose fizz, with similar flavours on the palate, a touch of yeasty complexity, but always true to its crisp, refreshing, talc-like textures, finishing with finesse... One of our best pinkies." 4 Stars - Tony Love, Courier Mail (26/Oct/2010)
"French for ‘stained’ (a reference to the small addition of red wine after disgorgement), Brut Taché is a blend of chardonnay (57 per cent), pinot noir (38 per cent), and pinot meunier (5 per cent) that draws on fruit from sites within Victoria, SA and Tasmania. From its delicate colour to its bright, pretty nose of wild strawberries, cream, and dried summer flowers, this is a finely crafted sparkling wine. In the mouth it opens rich and creamy with bright, red-berried fruit, terrific length of flavor, and plenty of tiny bubbles. " Matt Skinner, Matt Skinner's Wine Guide 2011
"It sounds sexist, but women gravitate and cogitate more over sparkling roses than blokes do. Is it the pinkness? " Rating 8.7/10 - Max Allen, Daily Advertiser (15/Jun/2010)
"This popular sparkling rose shows some red fruit flavours on its creamy nose and palate, with a refreshing crisp finish. " Rating 90 - Mike Frost, Courier Mail (11/Jun/2010)
