Sourced from fruit of Victoria’s cooler climate vineyards, Taltarni’s T Series Shiraz highlights a variety Taltarni is well renowned for with its exceptional fruit structure, deep colour and vibrant assortment of flavours.
- VIC - Other Victorian
While Taltarni has a 97.5-ha vineyard planted in 1969, it has not hesitated to go to Heathcote to help create these T Series shiraz wines, typically ending up with around 70% from estate-grown grapes and 30% from Heathcote. Bright, light crimson, fresh and breezy, the palate is light- to medium-bodied, with a mix of red and black berry fruits and soft tannins, plus a subtle infusion of oak. Consider short- to medium-term cellaring.
Winery Tasting Notes
An attractive, deep plum colour.
This wine displays great blackberry, plum, liquorice and chocolate notes on the nose.
The palate is well structured with nice soft tannins and plumy fruit flavours.
The length and the balance make it a very enjoyable wine to drink now or in the next 2 years.
