Bright vibrant with vivid purple hue.
Concentrated black cherry and olive with defined blackcurrant and subtle choc mint, supported by hints of violets and aromatic dried herbs.
Abundant with classic varietal and regional characteristics of red cherry, mint and dark berry flavours. A perfect integration of soft grainy tannins and subtle toasty oak create a vibrant wine with excellent length.
Enjoyed on release or cellar in the short term for 3-5 years.
Named after the railway siding - a noted landmark which played a defining role to the fledging settlement of Coonawarra's wine region. Completed in 1898,"The Siding" was the hub for transporting around 600 hogsheads of wine a year back in the late 1800s.
