The Rosemount District Release range pays tribute to the great wine regions of Australia and their most celebrated varieties. These wines highlight the importance of Rosemount's winemaking and viticulture teams and their attention to detail with fruit selection and during the winemaking process.
Fruit is generally sourced from older vineyards that show strong regional and varietal characters. These wines aim to reveal "terroir" - a French term that explains the intrinsic relationship between the variety, the vineyard, the site, the soil and the sun.
The job of the winemaker is simply to channel the vineyard's fruit expression into the bottle.

Winery Tasting Notes
Deep, dark plum red with vibrant dark purple hues.
Enticing blueberries, violets, black cherries and dark chocolate with a hint of earth and mint.
Vibrant blueberries, fragrant violets and juicy black cherries are supported by a slight dusting of chocolate and
mint, all held together by fine mouth-watering tannins, which provide a long cool refreshing palate.
A great expression of Coonawarra from a classic vintage and will reward with careful cellaring for 5-10 years.
