The Ebenezer range pays tribute to the many generations of growers who have painstakingly nurtured their vineyards through good years and bad since settlement. Without their persistence and strength many of the great vineyards of the Barossa would be lost today.
- SA - Barossa
- South Australia
From one of the relatively rare vintages in the Barossa Valley that was perfect for Cabernet Sauvignon; the wine has the slight savoury olive twist to its pure blackcurrant fruit one finds in cooler climates; the tannins are persistent and long, and in balance. To 2026. Rating 94 - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion Edition 2010
Winery Tasting Notes
Dark earthen red with a purple hue.
Lifted aromas of ripe dark cherry currants, integrated oak with a touch of eucalyptus and mint.
Palate shows wonderful depth and concentration of varietal fruit character, mouth-filling body with long, ripe finish. Oak balanced to fruit weight with the tannins being ripe, round and medium bodied. Very varietal in it’s expression.
