89 Points "This is a wine thats more about texture than big aromatics. The palate is superb. Has lovely smoky pear and herbal characters with traces of quince paste. Its interesting and complex something you cant always say about sauvignon blanc" West Australian, Ray Jordan (Australia), 08 Nov 08
Highly Recommended "This is a very distinctive wine in that it has Sancerre-like flintiness and texture. There are hints of gooseberry and grass, but this is a sauvignon blanc of admirable restraint. The racy acid finish adds to the appeal." Winewise (Australia), October 2008
"Here’s a very attractive, nicely textured and full flavoured wine." QHA Review, David Bray (Australia), February 2009

This variety when grown in Pemberton displays fresh green bean, snow pea and kiwi fruit characters with an underlying minerality. The region allows this variety to develop a generous textured palate whilst retaining structure and length. The aromas are carried through to the palate and are complemented by flavours of honeydew melon, lime and flint.
