Graced with our highly sought after low-yielding premium fruit, we set out to emulate the great chardonnays of France’s Chablis district.

The 2011 vintage was incredibly good to us at our vineyard in Mudgee, after a very wet start to spring, the rains held off and we had the perfect ripening period from Mid-December all the way to the end of March. We have now had this vineyard for six years and as the vines have now aged to twelve years we are really seeing some exciting fruit come off our blocks.

Winery Tasting Notes

The wine has got an earthy mineral character which showcases our unique terroir, it has great vibrant acid tones without being overpowering and exceptional fruit characteristic showing lemon, limes and subtle peach.

Food Matching

This is a great food wine as it soft subtle complexities will go with a variety of foods especially fresh fish, and white meat. I believe this will age very gracefully. Cheers
