Made with Organic Grapes

Sourced from our own vineyards, Cuvée Alexandre wines express our dedication to quality and the expression of the Terroir of Lapostolle.

“The Cabernet Sauvignon from Colchagua has a true identity: Intense red fruit and a structure to age many years. Here in Apalta, the fact that the vines are eighty years old and planted in high density gives the wine an extra layer of complexity.” Jacques Begarie, Chief Winemaker

Expert Reviews

"Aromas of blackberry and cassis are spicy and a touch herbal. A tannic, firm palate suggests that aging will help this along; flavors of blackberry and cassis are lightly herbal, while the finish is dense, fruity, earthy and generous. "90 Points Wine Enthusiast

Winery Tasting Notes

88% Cabernet Sauvignon; 7% Cabernet Franc and 5% Syrah certified Organic by CERES..

Deep red with dark purple hints.

Dense nose full of tobacco and coffee aromas, but yet very elegant with red fruit aromas such as plums and cherries.

Delicate attack and a broad structure of fine tannins towards the mid palate and finish. A concentrated body, which will enable a long bottle ageing.
