Overview

2012 began with full soil moisture profile and strong growth, a mild and dry growing season saw vines ripen early. Clare Valley experienced a late January storm which cleared away early and some welcome cooler weather followed, allowing full ripening and great flavour development. A very good season.

This bright modern style of Clare Valley Shiraz flaunts intense red fruit aromas with hints of dark chocolate, mint, bay leaf and violets complexed by fine vanillin oak.

Palate

On the palate, bright ripe raspberry fruit flavours are intertwined with dark choc minty tannins and subtle cedar notes. This medium bodied red displays juicy acid, great balance lengthening to textural finish, enticing another sip.
