In 1893, The Laira Vineyard was established by Captain Stentiford on a premium parcel of Coonawarra land. Eric Brand, the first Patron of Coonawarra, became the custodian of the vineyard more than half a century later. Borne from Coonawarra's oldest block, Brand's Laira Coonawarra today offers wines of exceptional quality that pay homage to the winery's rich history. Ths Shiraz displays rich ripe plum, dark berry and spice aromas. The generous palate exhibits a fine tannin structure with spicy plum fruits accompanied by mocha and cedar oak flavours from maturation in barrel. Cellar for up to eight years from vintage.
