Medium purple in colour, spicy white pepper and blueberry cassis aromas are further characterised by hints of chocolate and vanilla. Fruit and tannin qualities are finely balanced on a firm, sweet and spicy palate, while the finish is persistent, but also shows finesse.

The Banrock Station Shiraz Cabernet has an intense aroma of red and black berry fruit with a hint of thyme, sage and complex cinnamon, clove and spicy oak characters.
On the palate, this is a round full bodied red wine with intense berry flavours accompanied by savoury herbal notes of sage and thyme. This wine has firm fine tannins giving structure and is balanced by sweet fruit. It has a long warm finish with lingering flavours of blackcurrant and mulberry.
This wine is a fine accompaniment to beef, casseroles and Italian dishes.
