The Croser sparkling wines are crafted in the traditional method from fruit sourced from the Piccadilly Valley in the Adelaide Hills. A blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, these wines are Australian elegance in a bottle. The perfect Australian sparkling for every special occasion.
The Piccadilly Valley in the Adelaide Hills allows for full ripening of the grapes even in cooler vintages. With diverse aspects and varied soil types over some of the oldest rock formations, it delivers a subtle diversity of flavours from within the one valley. The cool ripening season and adequate rainfall is ideally suited for growing elegant Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Hand picked fruit is either whole bunch pressed or crushed and pressed. The free run juices are inoculated using Petaluma's special strains of yeast and fermented in barrique and tank. The tiraged sparkling wine is left to age on yeast lees for eighteen months and disgorged on demand, ensuring the wine retains exhibits freshness and vitality upon release.
