Clear medium dusk pink in colour, with a fine, persistent bead.


This wine displays lifted red current fruit complexed by butter toast and mushroom aromas.


Exhibiting raspberry and cream characters with lactic/yoghurt texture, this wine has a flavoursome, fine and elegant palate with fresh acidity and a balanced, light tannin finish.

The Yarra Burn winery was a pioneer of the Upper Yarra over 30 years ago. In fact, it was at Yarra Burn that founders David and Christine Fyffe produced the very first Yarra Valley sparkling, as well as one of the first Sauvignon Blanc Semillon blends in Australia. And this innovative thinking continues at the winery today.


Winemaker for Yarra Burn since 1999, Mark’s passion for making great wines is evident in everything he does. Yarra Burn has given him the perfect avenue to achieve this, with sparkling and cool climate wines that showcase the Yarra Valley at its finest.
