Deep magenta, bright; fruit purity is the essence of the bouquet, with cassis, redcurrant, cedar, olive and violet all on display; the palate is poised, polished, pristine and pure, offering a racy subtext of ample fine-grained tannins; layered and long, patient cellaring will be well rewarded, but there, but there will be plenty of enjoyment if you don’t have the time to wait. Winery Tasting Notes
This wine is elegant and stylish with aromas of dark cherry and red currant fruits, lightly perfumed mint and dried herb. A generous measure of sweet vanilla/cedar oak marries with the fruit superbly.
The palate displays a sumptuous, sweet core of cabernet fruit flavours which are lavishly coated with chocolate/vanilla oak and bound by fine, satiny tannins. Wonderful structure and sustained flavour length.
