Deep crimson red with garnet hues.
Fragrant varietal leafy/bay leave characters with mint and cassis. A very complex bouquet continuing with liquorice and cedar - intense and lively.
The palate continues on from what the nose offered with more red currants and vibrant leafy spice, while the tannins are seamless, offering terrific line and length.
Slow cooked duck, marinated lamb cutlets.
Hardys Oomoo was one of the first wines produced by Thomas Hardy at his original Bankside winery. Throughout the late 1800s and early 1900s it was Hardy’s most recognisable label, the word Oomoo adopted from the local Aboriginal dialect meaning ‘good’ or ‘attractive’.
