Winery Tasting Notes
Deep ruby red with a vibrant purple rim.
Showcases the fruit intensity of both the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot varietals from Western Australia. The Cabernet drives the blend and contributes intense redcurrant, cherry and a lifted leafy note whilst the Merlot component adds layers of plum and wine gum aromas from this varietal.
The palate shows tremendous depth and length of sweet fruit flavours with a fleshy texture critical to this blend. The silky, finely textured palate is a highlight of the wine and reflects the very good 2010 vintage conditions Western Australia enjoyed.
