Evans & Tate found its home at Redbrook vineyard in 1974, when it was initially planted to dry-grown Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. Nestled in the heart of the Wilyabrup wine region in Margaret River, Redbrook represents a range crafed from only the most exceptional fruit parcels of the vintage that enable a bold, thought provoking expression of Margaret River and Evants & Tate. Consistently producing powerful wines full of rich fruit character, if cellared correctly, these beautiful wines will continue to reward for many years to come.

A worked style with the intensity of fruit to match, not to mention a girder of acidity that is unimpinged by malolactic fermentation. Grapefruit, oatmeal, shortbread, spiced pears and lime. Leesy, nutty and mealy yet remains detailed. Lingering woodspice and a little friction at the end. Give it a year or a decant to get the most out of it right now. Winery Tasting Notes
Very pale straw with a youthful green rim
Citrus, and lifted stone fruit aromas drives the nose of the wine with delicate savoury aromas of dried herbs, malt, shortbread and oyster shell
A benchmark Chardonnay from Margaret River. Tight citrus / lime flavours with honeydew melon and white peach driving through the whole palate. The delicate savoury characters of dried herbs, fresh toast and malt from wild barrel fermentation on solids add intriguing flavour and textural complexity. This is a wine that rewards throughout the whole tasting process, directly on the front palate of soft fruit freshness that builds intensity on the middle palate with its savoury characters and finishing off with the lingering elegant French oak characters that make this wine such a standout.
