Winery Tasting Notes
Deep red with purple hues.
The rich and powerful flavours of ripe berries and blackcurrant from Cabernet Sauvignon are balanced with fresh mulberry and spice from the Merlot. Stylish, well integrated oak provides added complexity.
An intensely flavoured, full bodied wine, with rich and complex fruit characters showing nuances of both varieties. Assertive yet supple sweet grape tannins provide rich texture, great length and structure.
Structured for longevity, this wine has masses of flavour which will delight those who enjoy primary fruit characters and choose to drink it now, yet will go the distance if carefully cellared for 10 or more years.
Try it with red meats or tomato based pasta.
