95% of the fruit is from river regions which adds generosity of flavours. 5% New Zealand Sauvignon to give the wine some punch. Wine making techniques included fermentation at elevated temperatures and fermentation with solids. These techniques improve texture and softness without sacrificing varietal expression.
"This is a blend of largely Australian savvy with about five per cent New Zealand savvy. No doubt the Kiwi component lifts the nose in this light bodied wine. Pleasant light-bodied palate with understated tropical fruit characters. Persistent and restrained with nice underlying fruit."88 Points Ray Jordan, West Australian, May 2013
"An interesting move to include 5% NZ sauvignon blanc; the wine is not particularly expressive of its variety, but does have good structure and length, and is good value." 87 Points - James Halliday, James Halliday Australian Wine Companion, Jul 2013
