‘Bossa’, the affectionate nickname that Vittorio De Bortoli bestowed on his childhood sweetheart, Giuseppina, identifies the authentically Australian story of a modern migrant woman. La Bossa wines pay homage to Giuseppina’s inspiring traits. They are wines that are proud and authentic, but with the kind of contemporary style and vibrancy that made Giuseppina one of a kind.
Made using both Australian and New Zealand grapes, creating a fresh and vibrant wine.

"This is largely Riverina fruit with about 5 per cent New Zealand. It's simple, fresh and fruity with an appealing lifted lemony zest character on the nose and a zippy easy drinking palate. Good price for an appealing little wine for chilling out."
Rating 87 - Ray Jordan, West Australian, (MAY/2012)
"A very handy Riverina dry white at a reasonable price, and one of the best of a new range recently launched by one of our more dynamic producers."
"A little bit herbal, a little bit of length and a touch of class here. Not so modern and vivacious but more traditional and satisfying – to go with food. The lift comes, cleverly, from the addition of 5% of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc."
Western Suburbs Weekly, (JUL/2012)
"A new label that honours the life of Giuseppina 'Bossa' De Bortoli who, with her husband Vittorio, established the family winery in 1928. Handy sub-$10 quaffer, fresh and lively with tropical fruit on the nose and palate, cut grass characters, zippy acidity and a clean finish."
