‘Bossa’, the affectionate nickname that Vittorio De Bortoli bestowed on his childhood sweetheart, Giuseppina, identifies the authentically Australian story of a modern migrant woman. La Bossa wines pay homage to Giuseppina’s inspiring traits. They are wines that are proud and authentic, but with the kind of contemporary style and vibrancy that made Giuseppina one of a kind.

"The same De Bortoli magic worked here as with the red wines in a similar price range; the flavours are not intense, but they do show varietal character, and there is just a whisper of oak."87 Points - James Halliday, James Halliday Australian Wine Companion 2015, July 2014
