As this wine is labelled French Cask Chardonnay the use of French oak for maturation is required. The skill of the Winemaker is to ensure that the purity of the varietal flavours are enhanced and supported without any masking or domination of the oak

Winery Tasting Notes
Vibrant pale straw with green hues
Fresh stone fruit and honeydew melon, with toasty oak and nuances of flint and seaweed.
Attractive citrus and fig flavours are perfectly balanced with soft lemony acid and an underlying creamy texture from partial Malolactic fermentation. Toasty
vanilla oak adds structure and length to the palate.
This wine exhibits and delivers on this design enabling the wine to be drunk young or to age gracefully for several years.
Happily served with seafood, white meats and creamy pastas.
