For this wine we reserved selected parcels of grapes grown in the Coonawarra region in South Australia. The Coonawarra is famed for its rich red ‘Terra Rossa’ soil.
Jacob’s Creek Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits typical regional characteristics of mint and blackberry aromas with ripe cassis flavours and a hint of black olive.

Winery Tasting Notes
Deep crimson red with purple hues
The wine shows fresh, strongly varietal leafy blackcurrant fruit aromas on the nose, with nuances of cedary cinnamon from well-handled French oak.
Elegantly structured, with bright and intense fruit flavours of cassis and tobacco leaf with subtle hints of integrated oak supported by fine, supple tannins and balanced acidity leading to a long, smooth finish.
Excellent drinking now and will continue to improve over the next five years.
An ideal accompaniment to lamb cutlets, beef rib roast or mature cheeses.
