We are fortunate to have some of the oldest plantings in the Yarra Valley dating back to 1971, with varieties and sites that are genuinely interesting and worthy of release as single vineyard wines. The Pinot Noir reaches new heights in potential for longevity. Soft, fine, plump, spicy, fine tannin, good acidity, overall quite a calm wine.

"Mid-garnet; as always a wine to contemplate with red fruits mingling among savoury aromas of cold tea, vine sap and Asian spices; light on entry, the underlying structure and lacy acidity takes time to unravel across the palate, building to a crescendo of flavour that is both attractive and a little muscular; power contained by elegance."
Rating 95 - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion 2013, (JUL/2012)
"A single vineyard pinot noir sourced from some of the oldest plantings in the Yarra Valley. This genuinely interesting site produces a soft, fine and plump wine full of spice, with fine tannin and good acidity. Overall, it's quite a calm drop."
