2014 saw good winter rains followed by a warm growing season, which led to good yields of fruit. A hot beginning to the harvest period accelerated the ripening. Frantic harvesting followed, ensuring we picked the fruit with the ideal flavour spectrum.

Red fruited, some herbal notes, touch of cassis, touch of floral/lavender. Good start to the wine. Has a washy, pleasing, light on but flavoursome feel to the palate with some fine, light on tannins. Finishes a little lemony and too tangy, but reasonable drink on hand. Rating 86 - Mike Bennie, winefront.com.au (JUN/2015).
