De Bortoli Windy Peak wines are made at our Dixon's Creek winery from carefully selected fruit grown in the Yarra Valley, King Valley and other regions. The wines are generous in flavour with fine grained texture, perfect for bringing out the best in food.
The 2012 growing season is arguably the best Cabernet Sauvignon growing season in over 10 years. Pretty good for Merlot also. Mid autumn ripening, lots of time for tannin development, beautiful aromas and flavours at moderate alcohol levels.

Classic ‘old school Claret’ of dark brooding fruit, hints of leaf, a touch of mulberry and cigar box.
Medium weight, distinctive Cabernet fruit flavours with length, leaf, dryness and integrated tannin.
Excellent current drinking and will soften and gain additional complexity over the next 3-5 years.
A perfect match with chargrilled sirloin.
