Expert Reviews

Such a fine and delicate prosecco, with a beautiful light fragrance of pear and citrus blossom. The palate is lean and clean, with a refreshing feel. Lovely wine to drink now. This is the real deal and one of the best. Great value, too. 92/100"

Ray Jordan West Weekend Magazine January 2016

"...this Italian original offers all that prosecco can give you — lighthearted, effervescent, fresh and fruity in a lemon barley cordial meets homemade lemonade way. It is spritely with easygoing zing, totally smashable at its low 11 per cent alcohol rating, and perfect as an afternoon aperitif or Aperol spritzer partner..."

Tony Love Herald Sun (Melbourne)/Mercury (Hobart) December 2015

"Simple, good balance, bready and toasty." DF "Well defined fruit, some dosage present but delicate mild honeyed notes and enough acidity to give balance." AS

De Bortoli Wines is a third generation family wine company established by Vittorio and Giuseppina De Bortoli in 1928. The couple emigrated to Australia from Northern Italy, from mountain villages at the foothills of the Italian Alps, near the historic town of Asolo.

Their son, the energetic and dynamic Deen De Bortoli, (b 1936 – d 2003) expanded and consolidated the business created by his parents. Deen's children established De Bortoli's reputation for premium wine including icon dessert wine Noble One and the Yarra Valley wines.

Italian family values passed down from Vittorio remain core values, there is a culture of hard work, generosity of spirit and of sharing good food, good wine and good times with family and friends.
