William Downie `Mornington Peninsula` Pinot Noir 2011 (2 x 750mL) VIC.

William Downie is considered one of the best Pinot Noir producers in Australia. With incredibly limited production, the opportunity to taste one of his amazing wines is extremely rare.

Though Downie only makes Pinot Noir, the location of his vineyards creates an exciting variation in the resulting wines. The Mornington Pinot Noir is medium bodied, with flavours of raspberry and blood plum and scents of violet and lavender. This wine is very drinkable now but would really shine with cellaring for up to a decade.
