Provenance: ★ ★ ★ ★ The intention with this wine was to achieve an expression of Shiraz that ranks amongst the world's best. The greatest attention to detail has been applied in its making from the selection of fruit of exceptional quality through to an extended oak maturation period in new French and American oak barriques.
- SA - Coonawarra

Well above-average fruit concentration for the vintage; spends several years in oak, but the fruit carries that oak, obvious though the latter may be. Overall quite luscious compared to previous vintages. Rating 94 - Drink by 2025, James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion (JAN/2007)
Winery Tasting Notes
Prodigy 2003 has a seductive bouquet of ripe raspberry, plum, anise and spice fruit, aromas with sweet vanillin and coffee bean oak maturation tones.
Opulent in structure, the palate is a seamless marriage of rich, ripe fruit and spice flavours with complex oak maturation characters. Fine, soft tannins support a long, lingering finish.
This outstanding wine will continue to develop and integrate over 10 to 20 years cellaring.
