"Deep hue; at once slightly lighter (medium- to full-bodied) and more savoury than The Beast, no doubt intentionally. Has lots of light and shade to its texture."

CAMPBELL MATTINSON 95 POINTS!
"This is a sweet, rich, fine-boned wine of terrific concentration. This has power and impact galore, its luscious, saturated fruit flavour coating the tongue in a mass of velvety, dark fruit. It's a blend of 97 percent shiraz and three percent viognier - a blend I'm often not so keen on from the warmer regions. It works wonderfully here though. Aniseed, tar, blackberry, dark sugars and lots of fine, soft, chocolaty tannins. This will cellar beautifully - but is a beautiful drink now too. It's a modern Barossan blockbuster in the best sense of the words."

Winery Tasting Notes
Striking black purple in colour.
Sweet berry perfumed nose.
Rich, ripe, black berry and chocolate flavours encouraged us to keep it separate. These grapes were grown in a truly beautiful setting adjoining the gum tree studded creek and amongst park like surrounds. The beauty is a fitting partner to our most prized wine, 'The Beast'.
