The grapes for this wine are 100 % estate grown. The old vines consistently give us fruit of incredible flavour and intensity.
- WA - Margaret River

Slightly more purple than the Tomasi Merlot; a 75/25 blend that had the same oak treatment; a complex medium-bodied plate with cedary oak and attractive fruit; does stall slightly on the finish. Rating 90 - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion (JAN/2011).
Winery Tasting Notes
75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot
The colour is deep brick red with a well-defined rim and is in brilliant condition.
The nose shows blackberry, mint and some red fruits. There is some vanilla bean as well.
The palate is full, rich and complex. There is black currant, strawberry, cherry and mulberry with hints of mint, leather and a spicy earthy texture. Oak is well integrated and restrained and gives a light tarry background.
This wine is eminently enjoyable now and will benefit from 5-10 years bottle age.
