Winery Tasting Notes
Shiraz 2014:The bouquet displays aromas of lifted spicy fruit with a hint of oak. The palate is medium bodied with a soft texture and nice length of flavour.
Pinot Noir 2014: Elegant nose displays dark cherry and plum aromas with hints of cedar and spice.The supple mouthful is silky and moreish while exhibiting blackberry flavours backed by a rich savoury complexity.
Toscano 2009: Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) Cabernet Franc (20%) and Merlot (20%). The wine is aged for just under a year in oak barrels. Fruit focused with a medium structure. Bronze Medal - International Wine and Spirits -IWSC 2013
Cabernet Sauvignon 2015: Lifted blackcurrant fruit aromas with subtle vanilla and cola notes on the nose.The palate is medium bodied with intense black cherry and spice flavours with a long, soft finish.
Merlot 2013: This classic Merlot demonstrates delicious flavoursome characteristics and is ideal for immediate enjoyment.The wine is rich and fruit driven, revealing flavours of soft berries. Silky tannins compliment the ripe berry undertones, resulting in a well-balanced finish.
Shiraz 2013: Blackberries and red cherry notes, with perfumed spices of cinnamon and cloves.Boysenberry, mulberry and blackberry fruits form the vibrant core of this wine. Delicate notes of spices are complimented with powdery, cocoa like tannins, creating a luscious wine with amazing balance and length.
