Winery Tasting Notes
Milner of Hahndorf `The Sculptor` Tempranillo 2013: This vibrant Tempranillo has lively red berry fruit with hints of vanilla and blueberries, and a touch of leather and spice. A rich palate with firm tannins, balanced acidity and supporting oak.
Heredad Torresano Roble Tempranillo 2013: On the nose it is complex, with ripe fruits balanced by subtle notes of coconut, vanilla and spices from its timely ageing in barrel. On the palate it is full flavoured, rich in fruit with a balanced level of tannins, which give it a pleasant grip and a very long finish full, again, of fruit and spice. This is a wine which can be drunk immediately, although its structure will give it good potential in bottle. A wine to be consumed as an aperitif, or with many rich foods.
Borgo Bello Toscana Sangiovese IGT 2015: Sangiovese is smooth and velvety with vanilla and tobacco hint end.
Borgo Bello Chianti DOCG 2015: Long lasting bouquet with hints of cherry and spice. It is a smooth, fresh and well balanced wine.
