The Pirramimma Winery is located just a short distance south of the small township of McLaren Vale, about 40 kilometres south of Adelaide, the capital of South Australia.
Planted over 40 years ago the pituresque contoured Stock's Hill vineyard overlooks the Pirramimma winery and estate. The site was selected for its topography - hillside location, fine red loam over limestone and ironstone, together with exceptional drainage.

Lift, life and an abundance of fruit power; this is an affordable find. Blackcurrant flavour charges through the palate, aided by herb, mint and black olives notes.

Winery Tasting Notes
The 2013 Cabernet Petit Verdot Merlot displays a bouquet of violets, blackberry, red current and bramble with hints of spicy oak and floral notes.
The palate exhibits blackcurrant, cherry, red guava and quince flavours, which are complemented by subtle cranberry, musk and subtle toasted oak. An elegant firmly structured wine with fruit, oak tannins in harmony.
