Benwarin is a local aboriginal word meaning "long hill". Benwarin wines are made entirely with grapes grown in our low- yielding vineyard at Mistletoe Lane, Pokolbin.

The 2006 Shiraz was bottled after 15 months maturation in selected French and American oak barrels. It is a medium bodied Shiraz with sweet mild palate fruit balanced well by savoury oak and fine tannins.
